GBSL Weather Policy

Cancellations - Any decision to cancel a session will generally be made before 11:00 a.m. on any Sunday.  Information may be obtained by calling the GBSL information telephone number at 610 954-0996.  Coaches / Team Parents may wish to establish a phone chain. 

Violent Weather - If the weather worsens after a session begins, the Division Commissioner will notify each coach to take his or her team off the field to a "safe area".  The "safe area" for players using fields 1 through 10 will be Goodman Stadium.  The "safe area" for players using fields 11 through 18 will be Sabler Arena.  While it is unlikely players will be able to enter the building, there is a sheltered overhang which should provide some protection from severe weather.

Do not dismiss the team or any player unless you are notified by your Commissioner or another GBSL officer that the session is being canceled.  Do not leave any child at the field or any "safe area" until his or her parent arrives to take the child home.
